51200 Transmitter Protection Assembly

The 51200 Transmitter Protection Assembly is installed at building locations where the 2000 and 4200 Cable Management Systems are installed. The 51200 is used at the cable origin in the cable vault or at the building entry point to safely originate two fiber optic cable armors.

Description

The assembly is pre-wired in an enclosure to allow for the ease of installation at the building entry location. The assembly provides maximum duty total failsafe gas tube arrestors to provide high surge current protection and transient suppression. Induced Voltage Filters (IVF) are also included which consist of a tuned series pass network, which provide low impedance path to ground for induced 60 Hz AC current. Both Tone locating and cable monitoring signals pass by the assembly with little or no reduction in strength.
