The 2745 Sheath Grounding Unit (SGU) is a two line device designed to access two cable armors, while the 2745 Wire Grounding Unit (WGU) is a two line device designed to access two cable locate wire leads.
For adequate protection, it is recommended to install this device at every splice location or at a minimum at every third splice location
