The 2716 Sheath Grounding Unit (SGU) is a field installed unit designed to provide maximum protection against 60 Hz induced power line currents and high voltage transient surges on cable sheaths.
Description
The unit is an environmentally sealed combination maximum duty failsafe arrestor and a 60 Hz series pass Induced Voltage Filter (IVF).
