2310 Line Termination Unit
The 2310 Line Termination Unit (LTU) provides the required impedance path to ground for locator tones above 250 Hz while ensuring proper termination of the cable sheath for operation of cable sheath monitoring systems.
Description
The LTU also incorporates hybrid high voltage protection circuitry that provides a path to ground for high voltage transient surges. The Fixed Current model is used on cables with up to 20 terminations ensuring the tone reaches all terminations with equal signal strength. Fixed impedance LTU are also available for long cable runs with few terminations ensuring maximum signal strength reaches the terminations.
