Norscan President & CEO Daniel Deleurme Selected As Featured RRC Grad

If you’re driving around the streets of Winnipeg, you may have noticed a series of Red River College billboards featuring some of their V.I.P. graduates. Norscan’s own President and CEO Daniel Deleurme was selected as one of these V.I.P. grads, and he joins a distinguished group of RRC grads who are leaders in their chosen fields.

Daniel, a 1984 graduate of RRC’s Electronic Engineering Technology program, has spent his entire career in Winnipeg’s technical community and has been with Norscan since 1990. He has held leadership roles across all departments, and in 2011 Daniel became President & CEO of Norscan Instruments. In addition to Red River College’s Electronic Engineering Technology program, Daniel has completed Management and Quality Management programs at the University of Manitoba.

Daniel is very active in the community as a member of TRTech, Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM), the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME), and is on the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s (NSERC) advisory board. Previously, he has also been a member of the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board (CTAB) and served as an accreditation auditor of the RRC Electronic Engineering Technology program. He has also served as an industry member to the RRC Electronic Engineering Technology curriculum advisory committee.

“It has been quite an honor to be chosen among such a dedicated group of professionals,” says Daniel. “The V.I.P. campaign is a testament to the quality of education delivered by Red River College. These individuals strive to better their organizations, Winnipeg as a community, and beyond, and to be part of that is truly an exceptional experience. I would like to thank the team at Norscan and the folks at Red River College who made this happen. ”
